Dr. Peter Stavrianidis
Dr. Peter Stavrianidis, Ph.D. is the principal owner and “visionary” of the Venus Establishment. He is a Graduate Gemologist (GG) from the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.) and a Certified Gemologist Appraiser (CGA) from the prestigious American Gem Society (AGS). He is also an accredited member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA).
When he is not jet-setting around the country and the world attending seminars and trade shows, or hard at work sorting through hundreds of diamonds and colored stones for our in-house custom work, Dr. Peter spends time with his wife and his three sons. He is known to be a music aficionado (occasionally jamming with a local rock-jazz band) and a serious martial artist.
Dorothy Fount
Dorothy, or Dora as she is affectionately known, is the co- founder and co-partner of Venus Jewelers. Dora’s magnetic personality and incredible talent for curating eclectic, value, and quality-focused collections have been one of the main pillars of Venus Jeweler's success and longevity. Dora spends her time attending trade shows searching for new designers and staying up to date on the latest jewelry industry knowledge. She also has spent her time cultivating a loyal following in sunny Florida where is her second home.
Jason Stavrianidis
Jason is proudly carrying on the legacy of being the 5th generation line of jewelers. He is an Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP), Certified Sales Associate (CSA), and is currently working towards his G.G. ( Graduate Gemologist).
As a boy, Jason would visit the store and look over his grandfather's shoulder. Jason quickly realized his passion for the business. He made it his mission to spread his knowledge and love for gemology and fine watches as seen by his huge following at ;Jason The Gemologist on Instagram . Jason's desire to honor his family legacy while infusing his own brand of millennial-driven strategy has been a tremendous asset to the growth of Venus Jewelers.
Jason's method is to work hand in hand with clients to create works of art that honor the most important moments of their lives. He says, “I want everyone to know jewelry is not only an adornment. It can become part of the wearer’s life story, help express their individuality, and represent milestones in their lives.”
