Whether you're a new watch owner or need a quick refresher, this step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of setting your watch.
Before You Begin:
Ensure you have a quiet and well-lit space.
Locate the crown on the side of your watch.
Step 1: Identify the Crown
Identify the small knob on the side of your watch. This is the crown.
Step 2: First Position - Date Setting
Gently pull out the crown to the first position.
If your watch has a date function, turn the crown to set the correct date.
Step 3: Second Position - Time Setting
Pull the crown out further to the second position.
This is where you can set the time.
Step 4: Set the Date (if applicable)
If your watch has a date feature, adjust it accordingly.
Step 5: Set the Time
Turn the crown in the appropriate direction to set the correct time.
Step 6: Push the Crown In
Once the time and date are set, push the crown back to its original position.
Step 7: Adjust Day/Night Indicator (if applicable)
If your watch has a day/night indicator, set it according to the current time.
Step 8: Wind the Watch (if it's an automatic watch)
If your watch is automatic, wear it regularly to keep it powered. If it's stopped, refer to the manual for winding instructions.
