Peter Stavrianidis | Peter Stavrianidis is the principal owner and "visionary" of the Venus Establishment. Besides his academic accomplishments, having a BBA and an MBA from the City University of New York (CUNY), Peter is a perpetual student of knowledge, attending every course and seminar that pertains to Jewelry & Gemology, Customer Service and Appraisal Issues. He is a Graduate Gemologist (GG) from the Gemological Institute of America and a Certified Gemologist Appraiser (CGA) from the prestigious American Gem Society (AGS). He is also a member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA). As an accomplished public speaker and presenter, Peter takes a lot of pride in educating the public about Gems, Jewelry and the Historical Events that contributed to the period trends of jewelry. He is a well sought out speaker in community clubs, professional organizations and industry forums. When he is not jet-setting around the country and the world attending seminars and trade shows, or hard at work sorting through hundreds of diamonds and colored stones for our in-house custom work, Peter spends time with his wife and his three young sons. He is also known to be a music aficionado (occasionally jamming with a local rock-jazz band) and a serious martial artist. As a passionate proponent of human rights, he is affiliated with a NGO (Non Governmental Organization) of the United Nations for the prevention of Genocide around the world.

Dorothy Fount | "Above Par" is a great way to describe Dorothy Fount, or "Dora" as she is fondly known. She is Peter’s sister and partner in this fourth generation family business. Her zest for life and love for jewelry makes Dora the heart of the Venus Establishment and the pole of attraction to the myriad of clients and friends that surround this fine establishment. Dora’s magnetic personality and genuine affection for people contribute immensely to the successful path of Venus Jewelers for all these years. Dorothy spends part of her time in sunny Florida, practicing her tennis skills. She also spends time attending jewelry shows and selecting some of the exclusive pieces that Venus Jewelers is known for.

Igor Sirochinsky | Igor Sirochinsky is the General Manager and the "Venus Oracle" of Venus Jewelers. He has been with this fine establishment "longer than he can remember"…....30 plus years, and he has an answer for everything – for clients and staff alike. Igor is an accomplished bench jeweler and our very own watchmaker, although these days he spends more time attending to Venus' fine clientele and making sure that every special order and repair is delivered to perfection. Whether serving a client or supporting another staff member, Igor's disposition is always pleasant and his sense of humor is "legendary" among his peers. His expertise and gusto will put a smile on your face for all your jewelry needs. Igor is an Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and a Certified Sales Associate (CSA) from the American Gem Society (AGS). When Igor isn’t busy with his creative work at Venus Jewelers, he spends his time doting on his wife, adult son and college-bound daughter.
